Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Bhimatangi as it is popularly known today, came into existence on 1st May 1993 whose
foundation was laid by some noble and dedicated souls of the locality who were inspired by the ethics and ideology of
Bidya Bharati under Akhila Bharatiya Sikhya Sansthan to bring out a trend in qualitative education.
This Institution is now full fledged imparting academic, cultural, technical, physical and ritual education to more than
Sixteen Hundred students from Shishu Prambha to Class 10th. It deploys about Seventy Teachers in different faculties.
By their tireless and sincere efforts, the students of our Shishu Vidya Mandir always come out with flying colours in
various competitions and examinations year after years.
The day of the Vidya Mandir begins with the holy prayers for the Goddess Maa Saraswati,
Param Brahma Omm and Bharat Mata and thus creates a pious and homely atmosphere to learn.
The students here feel free to engage themselves in class room studies, using science and Computer labs,
reading books in Library, playing indoor and outdoor games, learning dance, song and music, practicing Pranayam and Yoga etc.
and some times in social activities.
Amidst a semi-urban surroundings and peaceful atmosphere, our Shishu Vidya Mandir stands like a Pillar to preach the value of religion,
discipline, sincerity etc. in our social life and culture.
Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Bhimatangi is situated in Plot No. 1517/4134 , Holding No. 4017 Ward No. 14 of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation and in the middle of OSHB, Kapila Prasad, Phase-II .
It is only 1 Km. distance from Lingaraj Temple Rly. Station and 2 Kms. from Biju Pattanaik International Airport.
It is an Odia medium School under the guidelines of Sikhya Vikas Samittee, Odisha with English, Hindi and Sanskrit being taught from Class-IV onwards.
